So, I've been back in New York for a few days now, but I wish I was still in New Orleans. I should really do a proper write of the trip soon, but there's so much to say and I don't know if I can really capture the experience.

Basically, it was an awesome time.

Lately I have been feeling some combination of apathy and ennui. There's nothing to do, and I've lost interest in attempting to do anything. All I want to do is to stay at home and read. I mean, I like reading, but I also usually like making contact with people outside of my immediate family.

I forgot to mention that Saturday was the 1 year anniversary of Melanie and Erin's toga party that they threw last year. I celebrated in style by attending a cocktail party that night. I'm obviously stepping up in the world. Next year, we're having a ball. But the toga party was obviously a life altering event, so it warranted mention.
